Your personal information will be stored in our database. This information will be used for:
1. Researchers who are searching for the right volunteers to fit in their studies. The name and address of the volunteer will be released to a researcher only after the registration of the volunteer to a study at Link2Trials.info and if required the information of the volunteer will be stored in the database of the researcher.
2. To select studies which suits the question of the volunteer. Personal information will not be used for other purposes other than the described items above without the approval from a volunteer. Personal information will not be visible for internet users.
Privacy
A researcher who search for a volunteer will see a unique number instead of name and address (with the exception of the zip code and city). This number can be used by Link2Trials after confirmation of the volunteer to query and provide the information to the researcher. Characteristic which are important to fit into a study, such as date of birth,weight and smoke behaviour, are visible for a researcher. As mentioned before this information is linked to unique number and not to personal information.

Your personal account is secured with a SSL connection (notice the 's' in the url's https:// ) which results in a high safety and anonymity of the personal information.
Third Party
We guarantee you that any information of a personal nature concerning you will not be removed, preserved, manipulated or transmitted, behind your back, outside the strict Terms of Service of Link2Trials. We commit ourselves to keep the information that you confide to us strictly confidential and we forbid ourselves from commercializing it behind your back or otherwise placing it at the disposition of a third party outside of the exchanges of contact information that you would have previously accepted. If you wish to keep the information strictly secret, we ask you not to mention it on this site.
