1. Once you have registered, are you obliged to take part in a clinical study?

You are never obliged to take part in a clinical study. By registering at Link2Trials in the database, you indicate potential interest in participating in a (clinical) trial. When you find a study on our site in which you would like to take part, or when we approach you with a study for which you would be suitable, you can look at the study and then decide whether you would like to volunteer.

2. Am I free at any time to withdraw from a study?

You can withdraw from a study at any time, even after it has started. This will also be confirmed during an extensive interview before you take part in a study.

3. Is there insurance coverage for any possible damage?

The research institute has a statutory obligation to carry insurance for each clinical study it conducts. Prior to the study, you will also have an opportunity to see the details of the insurance.

4. Is there any fee involved for taking part?

There is no fee involved. If you participate as a healthy volunteer, besides reimbursement of travel expenses, in most cases you will also receive compensation for taking part.

5. If I have already registered for a study but have not yet received a response, what is the reason for this?

When you register, a staff member of Link2Trials will review your profile. If it is suitable, based on the information you provided, your application will be sent to the client. It could take some of time before you are contacted. You should check your e-mail and telephone or voicemail messages regularly.

6. If I receive a message that the website is not secure, what should I do?

This message could occur if your system time is incorrectly set. A secure connection has a time lapse. If your system time is set ahead, the secure connection may have lapsed. The solution is to check your system time and set the correct date on your computer.
